Through our dedicated volunteer network and community support, we actively run initiatives designed to bring immediate relief and long-term hope to the vulnerable populations of Sri Ganganagar.
Bonded Labor Awareness & Support Program
Under this initiative, members of Khalsa Foundation visited brick kilns in Koni and Rohidawali villages to interact directly with labourers working under difficult conditions.
Labourers were encouraged to discuss wage-related concerns and informed about their right to approach authorities, including the District Collector of Sri Ganganagar, in case of any grievances.
During the outreach program, warm clothes, boots, and sweets were distributed to labourers and their children. Following its success, similar programs have continued and will remain part of our ongoing efforts. Both workers and local stakeholders appreciated this initiative.
Tricolor Travel (Tiranga Yatra) Awareness Program
Khalsa Foundation actively supported the Tiranga Yatra initiative to promote national unity and civic awareness. Upon reaching Koni village, the yatra was welcomed with flowers and garlands by foundation members.
Tea, snacks, and prasad were distributed to participants. Throughout the journey, villagers expressed enthusiasm and strong patriotic spirit. The Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Rohidawali and representatives from nearby villages participated in the event.
The visible enthusiasm of youth during the yatra was widely appreciated by community leaders and villagers, who encouraged continuation of awareness programs promoting national responsibility and unity.
